Anhui is famous for its Huizhou culture, reflected in the ancestral halls (clan temples) used for ancestor worship and family gatherings, so it is important to maintain a respectful attitude while visiting. Tea culture is also highly regarded in Anhui, with the famous Huangshan Maofeng tea, so enjoy tea in a quiet, elegant setting according to local customs.

Tunxi Airport in Anhui connects over 20 domestic cities; the high-speed train from Shanghai takes about 2-5.5 hours, from Hangzhou about 1.5-2.5 hours. It takes approximately 50 minutes to drive from downtown Tunxi to Huangshan, and about 1.5 hours to the village of Hongcun.

Families with children in Anhui often choose Huangshan (it's better to take the cable car instead of hiking to avoid tiring the kids), the ancient village of Hongcun, and Xidi - a UNESCO heritage site with ancient architecture, Tunxi Old Street to try local specialties and buy souvenirs, or take a gentle boat ride to enjoy the scenery on the Tan River.

Yes, Vietnamese citizens need a tourist visa for China (type L) to enter Anhui, just like other provinces of the country, and no special permit is required specifically for Anhui.

The ideal time to travel to Anhui is from April to November, especially in autumn (September to November) when the weather is stable, the leaves change color, and the visibility is best for watching the sunrise and sunset at Huangshan. It is advisable to avoid June to September as this is the rainy season with a lot of fog in Anhui.
