Information on the impact of Krakatau volcanic ash (Indonesia)

Due to the impact of volcanic ash from Krakatau volcano in Indonesia, Vietjet continues to adjust its flight operations to and from Jakarta Airport (CGK), Indonesia.

The airline has suspended four flights scheduled for September 7, 2026, including VJ855/VJ854 (Ho Chi Minh City – Jakarta – Ho Chi Minh City) and VJ929/VJ928 (Hanoi – Jakarta – Hanoi), to ensure the safety of passengers and crew.

Passengers affected by the flight disruptions will be supported in accordance with the airline’s service policies. The airline will continue to closely monitor and assess the situation and prepare appropriate solutions to enable passengers to continue their journeys when conditions permit. Updates will be provided to passengers accordingly.

Passengers traveling to or from Jakarta are advised to proactively check their flight status and detailed schedules via the “My Flights” section on the Vietjet website and mobile app.
