Kuala Lumpur Airport, Malaysia: Address, Images, and Tips

Frequently Asked Questions

The MRT, LRT, and Monorail systems are convenient for traveling between many central areas. Taxis via apps are suitable when traveling in groups or to places without direct train lines, while the KLIA Ekspres train is a fast option for traveling between the airport and the city center.

You can politely bargain at night markets, shopping districts, and souvenir stalls that do not have fixed prices. In shopping malls, supermarkets, convenience stores, and places with listed prices, bargaining is not common.

Street food in Kuala Lumpur is generally quite safe, especially in busy areas like Jalan Alor. You should choose clean stalls, food that is prepared hot on-site, and pay attention to ingredients if you have allergies to seafood, peanuts, or do not consume halal food.

Kuala Lumpur has a hot and humid climate and can experience rain showers year-round. The period from June to August and January to February is usually more favorable for sightseeing, but you should still bring an umbrella or raincoat.

Overall, Kuala Lumpur is a safe and friendly city for tourists. However, you should safeguard your belongings at markets, train stations, and crowded areas; be cautious of pickpockets, phone snatchers, and avoid going alone in deserted places at night.
