2.1 Features of Indian architecture - Taj Mahal

The unique Taj Mahal is always among the top architectural works of India. The temple was built in 1631 at Agra in Uttar Pradesh state. This is where the tomb of Queen Argiuman Bano Begum is located, the wife that Emperor Giahan loved most. Therefore, this place is considered a symbol of undying love of the Indians.

2.2 Mahabalipuram relic cluster

Almost all the monuments in the Mahabalipuram cluster of relics were built between 630 and 715 during the Palava dynasty at the mouth of the Palar river in southern India. This is also the most famous temple cluster remaining of Hindu architecture.

Mahabalipuram is an architectural cluster consisting of different large and small temples arranged next to each other and separated directly into large monolithic rocks like heavens with their own shape and shape. 2.3 Humayun's Tomb

This is the mausoleum of Mughal emperor Humayun with bold Mughal architectural style at East Nizamuddin, New Delhi, India. Humayun's Tomb was built in 1562. In 1993, this place was recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site.

Humayun's Tomb is the first mausoleum in India and the premise for subsequent Mughal architecture. This work has a dome paved with white marble and most of the rest is used red sandstone. In addition, Humayun's Tomb is also famous for its ideal space located in a lush green garden and many dark Persian-style trees.

2.4 Golden Temple - Outstanding Indian Architecture

Referring to the outstanding Indian architecture, it is indispensable for the Golden Temple of Harmandir Sahib. This is the holiest Sikh temple built in December 1585 and completed in August 1604 in the Indian city of Amritsar, Punjab.

2.6 Ranakpur Jain Temple

This is one of the Buddhist architectural works of India dating from the 15th century in the hillside of the Arvalis valley in the western province of Rajasthan. Ranakpur Jain Temple was built by a wealthy devout Jain merchant named Dharma Shah under the patronage of the Rajput king, Rana Kumbha.

Ranakpur Jain temple covers an area of about 4,500m2 and white marble is mainly used to build it. It has 4 main temples, 4 halls, 4 doors, 67 arches, 29 sanctuary spaces. The entire architecture of Ranakpur Jain Temple is carved very delicately, skillfully and extremely beautifully.

2.7 Ajanta caves

The Ajanta cave area is located in the middle of the mountain, below the cave is the valley with the meandering Waghora river, located in the Northwest of India. This place is a very important historical evidence in the development of Buddhism in India.

The Ajanta Caves were built in two different periods: around 200 and 600 BC. From a huge rocky mountain range, they are carved to create architectural works of great stature. In addition, these caves also have a layout like a temple, including the main hall, the hall, the monks, etc.

2.8 Sri Ranganathaswamy temple

Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple is a temple designed and built in favor of Dravidian architecture, an architectural style that was formed in southern India and flourished at the end of the 16 th century. This is also the largest temple in India and one of the largest religious architectural complexes in the world.

This temple also attracts tourists with the design of the temple gate imbued with Hindu culture. It is also known as Rajagopuram, which means the Royal Temple consists of 11 floors with smaller size as it reaches the top.

2.9 Konark Sun Temple.

The temple was built around 1238-1264 during the reign of King Narasimha Deva, the heyday of Buddhism in India. The reason why this place is called the temple of the sun is because it is located outside the city of Puri in Orissa next to the beautiful Bay of Bengal coast.

Konark Sun Temple is the largest temple bearing the typical symbol of Buddhist architecture in Indian culture. The temple is designed in the shape of a giant chariot, pulled by 7 stone horses and 12 pairs of wheels, symbolizing the days of the week and the months of the year.

2.10 Agra fort

Agra fort was built in 1639 by the fifth Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. This is a large red sandstone fortress in the 16 th century located on the Yamuna River, in the west-central state of Uttar Pradesh, North Central India.

The reason for the name Red Fort is because the main building material is mostly prominent red sandstone. This place covers an area of 92.6 hectares along with many architectures inside the wall to serve the royal court, residence, workplace and entertainment of the king and was built according to Mogon architecture - a general architectural style.
