Daegu International Airport operates with two main runways, measuring: (13L/31R): 2,743m x 45m and (13R/31L): 2,755m x 45m. The airport currently hosts over 12 different airlines and can service 140,000 aircraft annually. Additionally, the airport is equipped with three boarding bridges, a taxiway measuring 623m x 23m, and an apron area of 41,582m².

5.2 Number of Floors

Daegu Airport has one terminal serving both domestic and international passengers. The terminal consists of two floors:

  • First Floor: Features three entrances, check-in counters, and self-service check-in kiosks for departing and arriving passengers.
  • Second Floor: Contains six boarding gates located at various points for optimal convenience.

Daegu International Airport is highly regarded for offering a variety of services to meet the needs of both domestic and international travelers. Basic amenities include dining areas, financial services (currency exchange, money transfer), free Wi-Fi, information desks, and nursery rooms.

6. Transportation from Daegu Airport to Hotels and Attractions

6.1 Subway

The nearest subway station to Daegu Airport is Ayanggyo Station, approximately 1.8 km away. To reach Ayanggyo Station, travelers can take the following bus routes: Express 1, Palgong 1, 401, and 101-1. The subway fare is 1,400 won per ride (approximately 26,000 VND). Be sure to listen to the announcements to get off at the correct stop!

6.2 Taxi

After exiting the arrivals gate, passengers can queue at the terminal or walk out of the airport area to hail a taxi. Taxis in South Korea use meters, ensuring transparent fare calculations.

6.3 Bus

At the bus stops near the airport, you can catch the following routes to travel to the city center: 101, 401, 719, Express 1, Dong-gu 2, and Palgong 1. The fare for the Express 1 route is 1,800 won (approximately 33,000 VND), while other routes cost 1,400 won (approximately 26,000 VND).

6.4 Car Rental

For more convenient and flexible travel, passengers can use car rental services. Car rental counters are located on the first floor of Daegu International Airport.

7.1 Daegu International Airport to Dongseongno Street

Dongseongno Street, often referred to as the heart of Daegu, is a bustling shopping and entertainment hub for the youth. To avoid multiple bus transfers, take the Express 1 (Maegok) bus directly to Central Memorial Park and then walk to Dongseongno.

7.2 Daegu International Airport to Woobang Tower
