Vietjet advises passengers to proactively check flight information at Lien Khuong International Airport from October 1, 2026

(Vietjet, Ho Chi Minh City, September 17, 2026) – Vietjet would like to advise passengers departing from Lien Khuong International Airport (Da Lat, Lam Dong Province) that the airport will gradually reduce and discontinue routine public-address announcements in the terminal, with the aim of creating a quieter and more comfortable environment for passengers.

Specifically, from October 1, 2026, the airport will suspend routine announcements such as calls for passengers to check in, proceed to departure gates, and notices to locate passengers. From 5:00 a.m. on November 1, 2026, all routine public-address announcements in the terminal will officially cease. The public-address system will only be used in emergencies, for fire prevention and firefighting purposes, or to communicate aviation security and safety information as required by regulations.

To stay informed throughout their journey, Vietjet passengers are advised to regularly check the Flight Information Display System (FIDS) in the terminal for updates on departure times, boarding gates and other relevant information, and to proceed to their boarding gate on time.

Passengers can also conveniently check their flight information through the “My Booking” section on www.vietjetair.com and Vietjet Air app. Vietjet’s staff are always available to provide guidance and assistance to passengers throughout their journey.

The move to discontinue routine public-address announcements reflects a growing global trend aimed at reducing noise levels at airports and creating a calmer environment, offering passengers a more relaxing experience while travelling by one of the world’s most modern modes of transportation.
