What will happen to my Vietjet Travel Safe Roundtrip Policy if Vietjet reschedules my Roundtrip Flight to another date?
Your Roundtrip Travel Safe Insurance Policy will automatically renew according to the actual schedule and up to a maximum of 10 days if Vietjet reschedules your Return Flight to another date.
When is my Travel Safe Policy effective?
Travel Safe Insurance program comes into effect when:
Trip Cancellation Benefit becomes effective twenty-four (24) hours from the date of purchase of Scheduled Flight Insurance.
Can I claim medical expenses under the Travel Safe Insurance Plan?

Does the Travel Safe Travel Insurance Plan cover sports and similar activities?
Travel Safe Insurance does not cover professional sports activities in exchange for income or remuneration and other similar activities. Please see the terms and conditions in the Policy for more information.
Can I cancel my flight for any reason and get a refund under the trip cancellation insurance benefit?
Trip cancellation benefit is only applicable for the reasons specified in the terms and conditions of the Policy. These reasons include unexpected events such as sickness, injury, or death of the Insured Person or the Insured's Family Member and/or the Insured's relatives. Pre-existing conditions are not covered under this Plan.

You can still purchase Travel Safe Insurance if you have a pre-existing condition. However, pre-existing conditions are not covered under this Plan
Does insurance coverage for loss or damage to baggage and/or personal effects apply in the event of theft?
Yes, Baoviet Insurance will pay each adult Insured Person up to the sum insured specified in the Table of Benefits for loss or damage occurring during the trip for baggage, clothing, or luggage, personal effects owned by the Insured, or carried, deposited in advance, purchased by the Insured Person during the trip under the terms and conditions of the Policy. The Insured must provide the required documents for Baoviet Insurance to consider paying.
Am I covered under the Travel Safe Insurance Plan if I ship my luggage home before my scheduled return trip to save costs?
No, unaccompanied baggage will not be covered
How can I identify the type of Travel Safe Insurance Plan I have purchased?
The Travel Safe Insurance Program is provided based on your route according to the air tickets purchased by you through the Digital Interfaces under the management of Vietjet Air specifically as follows:

Can I cancel my Travel Safe Policy and get a refund?
You may cancel your Travel Safe Policy once you have purchased it and receive a refund of the premium paid under Vietjet's policy, provided that you have not made the trip and no claim has been raised.
Can I modify my Travel Safe Policy?
Your Travel Safe Policy can be modified according to Vietjet's flight change policies. You can make adjustments according to Vietjet's regulations at My Booking section on www.vietjetair.com.
Claim procedure under Travel Safe Policy?
Customers can submit a claim online by accessing Baoviet Insurance's online claim portal according to the following instructions:
How long will it take to process my claim?
Your claim will be processed and responded to within 7 working days after you submit all required documents.
In case your claim is covered by insurance, Baoviet Insurance will proceed to pay the claim amount within 15 working days from the date Baoviet Insurance receives your full and valid hard copy of the claim file.
Time limit for notification of claims?
Notice must be sent to Baoviet Insurance immediately and in any case within 30 days from the end of the relevant trip.
Failure to give notice within the limited period will not invalidate a claim if the Insured can prove to Baoviet Insurance that such notice was given as soon as reasonably practicable and in any case not later than 60 days from the end of the relevant trip.
