Welcome new aircraft VN-A696 – SHARKLET A320

At 9.15AM today, Vietjet welcomed the aircraft VNA696 –Sharklet A320 which is the newest generation of Airbus. The aircraft has just been handed over to Vietjet at Toulouse (France) and arrived at Tan Son Nhat International Airport (HCMC) this morning.

Also in this morning, Vietjet entered into a credit contract with TPBank – the very first domestic bank to make a credit contract with Vietjet. The beginning limit for Vietjet is USD 21 million which is going to be increased in the near future. Before this ceremony, some of the foreign banks and finance organizations such as GECAS (US) had made financial fund &  leasing contract with Vietjet; BNP Paribas (France) and Jackson Square (Mitsubishi UFJ Group – Japan) and other banks had made fundamental negotiation of maintenance of finance for Vietjet.

In the ceremony, Mr. Luu Duc Khanh – CEO of Vietjet shared his speech : “Providing finance for leasing and buying aircraft is an attractive financial activity because of its high level of internationalization, the global liquidity and transparent cost of the proterty which is the aircraft. We appreciate the cooperation of TPBank as well as their professional working attitude in promoting the siging process in order to hold the ceremony today. We are all ready to develop and extend aircraft financial provision activity in international market with TPBank.”

Mr. Nguyen Hung – General Director of TPBank shared his words : “This ceremony today remarks the very first step of cooperation between TPBank and Vietjet which we tend to support and connect in all ours activities and services such as selling products crosswide, building up promotion campaigns, varied facility for customers towards the common benefits and devepopment.”

Vietjet has the modern, newest fleet in the area, friendly and professional staff, flight network spreading all over Vietnam as well as international flights to Thailand, Singapore, South Korea and plan to extend its network in the Asia – Pacific region. Vietjet’s services have satisfied domestic and international passengers.

This February, at Singapore Air Show, Vietjet has entered in the buying and leasing contract for 100 aircrafts from Airbus which had created a big buzz in the interational airlines market. This contract was also received special interest from Europe countries’s Governments. Vietjet received engagements for maintaining the finance from Airbus and the contract had the record in delivering time. The first aircraft would be handed over to Vietjet in November.
