VietjetAir organized agent conference in Thailand

(26 April, 2013) – At a groundbreaking conference in Bangkok more than 100 sales agents from Thailand were invited to “take off” with VietjetAir – Vietnam’s fastest growing airline, which is now flying direct from Ho Chi Minh City to the Thai capital. The service from Hanoi to Bangkok will be launched in June.

The conference, entitled Hand in Hand – Flying Together, aims to help the pagoda country forge even closer links with Vietnam and other regional destinations. But as VietjetAir bills itself as the fun, friendly airline of choice, there were also plenty of surprises for guests during the evening with the airline’s stewards performing several dance routines on stage.

Nguyen Bac Toan, Deputy Director of Commercial, said: “We all know that once our agents can grow, VietjetAir can grow. Therefore, VietjetAir is committed to supporting our agents as best we can through promotional programs, incentives and quality services. As our agents are also our ambassadors, they help brand VietjetAir and showcase our services and ultimately increase sales for the agents themselves. I believe that the cultural similarities and geographical factors between Vietnam and Thailand are the keys to the success of VietjetAir and Thai agents’ future tourism promotion and will tighten the relationship between the two countries.”

“VietjetAir will also expand its operations in Asia this year. This is our strategy to promote trade, tourism and investment in Vietnam and regional countries. To fulfill that strategy, a strong and comprehensive cooperation between VietjetAir and agents is critical for our success,” said Duong Hoai Nam, Deputy Head of VietjetAir’s northern office.

Tya Vidhayasai, Sales Director of Q.E Tour – VietjetAir’s General Sales Agency in Thailand – again confirmed the development potential of VietjetAir in Thailand and called for the cooperation of all parties to deliver international-standard services to world-wide passengers.

He said: “VietjetAir and Q.E have cooperated well with each other to provide consecutive support to agents and clients in Thailand. VietjetAir is a new airline, but it has quickly established itself on the market as trustworthy and favorable airline in Vietnam and the region. I believe that the airline will continue to grow and commit to bring the best flying choices to all agents and clients in the future.”
