VietjetAir offers one year of free air travel to Le Quang Liem, the country’s chess master

To congratulate Vietnam’s leading chess player, Le Quang Liem, on winning the HDBank International Open Chess Tournament 2013, VietjetAir has presented the young chess master with a coupon that entitles him to a year of free air travel with the country’s fastest growing airline.

“I was delighted to win the tournament and now I am even happier to have won a year of free air travel with VietjetAir,” said Le Quang Liem. “This is a dynamic airline and is already well-known for its friendly and professional services. I’ve already been flying with VietjetAir and I have been really impressed with everything.”

The young prodigy added that he hoped to see VietjetAir add more international routes in the near future so he could meet more chess champions around Southeast Asia and beyond. “The better connected Vietnam becomes the more opportunity I will have to meet and play the best chess players in Asia,” said Liem.

VietjetAir’s highly affordable flights have helped the airline rapidly expand its domestic network which will cover 10 destinations with this new route. The carrier is currently operating 300 flights a week (all operated by brand new Airbus A320 aircraft). It also has one international route connecting Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City and will launch more connections to major cities around Asia later this year.
