VietjetAir launches second mega-sale for Tet holiday

(Ho Chi Minh City, November 5, 2013) – VietjetAir has made another 250,000 discount tickets available for purchase for the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday next year.

This is the second sales period that the airline has launched for Vietnam’s biggest annual holiday, when millions of Vietnamese travel home or go on holidays with family.  The sale, which opened on November 6, is a continuation of the previous sale of 150,000 tickets.

Exactly half of the allotted tickets (125,000) will be exclusively reserved for 20 days before and 20 days after Tet.

For the busiest route, Ho Chi Minh City – Hanoi, VietjetAir has added another 60,000 tickets from only VND1,030,000/flight (excluding tax and airport fees). Customers are advised to plan their trips and book tickets early to avail of the best possible prices. 

To further facilitate the surge in travel demand during Tet, VietjetAir will increase the schedule of its Ho Chi Minh City – Da Nang route up to 42 return flights/week, equivalent to 7,560 seats.

With these additional fares, passengers hoping to travel to and from Da Nang for family reunions or holidays will have much more opportunity to secure a ticket. 

Tickets can be booked directly at www.VietjetAir.com (the website is compatible with computers, tablets and smartphones) and payment can be completed with a credit card (Visa or Master Card) or any ATM card that is registered for online payment with 21 major banks in Vietnam. Customers can also book tickets directly via our national network of authorized sellers and travel agencies.
