VietjetAir honors little passengers on the International Children’s Day

(VietjetAir, Ho Chi Minh City, 1 June 2012) All children passengers of VietjetAir’s flights today have had a good time celebrating International Children's Day thanks to surprising gifts and open discussions given by the carrier’s cabin crew. They are all given lovely souvenirs available at VietjetAir’s in-flight sky shop and enjoy the chance to play games and speak their thoughts about aircraft and flight attendant career with the cabin crew and all passengers on board.

Prior to their flights, VietjetAir has kindly invited children’s cartoon best friends of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Panda to its check-in areas at all international airports of Tan Son Nhat, Noi Bai and Danang to welcome and send best wishes to children passengers on their special day.

Desmond Lin – VietjetAir’s Director of Business Development, said: “VietjetAir has a strong commitment to social responsibility development by offering all passengers meaningful and amazing flying experiences. As the Vietnamese saying goes “The customer is God”, our special celebration today is for all children passengers, who we honor as “little Gods”. We are happy to see them being so excited, playful and open-minded today when flying with us. These are what we’re looking for and to maintain from our customers.”

Earlier, as a celebration leading to the International Children’s Day, VietjetAir also flew many ethnic-minority youths, who are awarded Vu A Dinh Scholarship, from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi and Danang for their summer holidays. The flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi was also accompanied by Former Vice President Truong My Hoa – the scholarship’s chairwoman and many other activists.

VietjetAir presently operates a fleet of three new Airbus A-320 aircraft with four crucial routes. Apart from the eight return daily flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, the carrier now service newly-launched routes between Ho Chi Minh City and Danang, Hanoi and Nha Trang and Hanoi and Danang. International flights to Southeast Asia and Northeast Asia are scheduled for early next year.
