Vietjet transports more than a quarter of million passengers, organises many meaningful activities on Vietnamese National Day

(Vietjet, HCMC, 5th September 2017) - On Vietnamese National Day this year, Vietjet performed approximately 1,501 flights, carried nearly 260,000 passengers. On this occasion, Vietjet also announced its new route HCMC – Jakarta (Indonesia), opened Hanoi – Yangon (Myanmar) route, and deployed other interesting programs which attracted the crowd and tourists.

This holiday, our number of passengers carried increased by 27% against the same period last year with that on-time performance stood at 88.3%. Vietjet deployed supplementary staff in Technical Dept., Flight Operation, Ground Operation departments etc. to offer passengers the best services.

Besides ensuring the safety and security norms, the company offered passengers many interesting and meaningful activities, such as: on-board welcoming by Vietjet’s flight attendants and employees in costumes featuring Vietnamese national flag; “the Great Circle of Vietnam” special flight in which nearly 200 passengers sang together with an Acapella choir emotionally. In addition, passengers celebrated the National Day with amazing gifts and lucky draw for Vietjet’s free return domestic tickets, etc.

Vietjet’s leaders and pilots joined a delegation led by leaders of Vietnamese Communist Party and Government to visit Bac Son Monument in Hanoi where they laid wreaths and showed their respect to Vietnamese’ heroes and martyrs on the 72nd Anniversary of August Revolution (19/8/1945 – 19/8/2017) and Vietnamese National Day (2/9/1945 – 2/9/2017).
