(Ho Chi Minh City – 29 August 2014) – Vietjet has announced the new age airline will begin operating a new daily route between Hanoi and Can Tho on 17 October, 2014.
The route will help tap growing demand for travel between the capital city in the north of the country with the Mekong Delta’s largest economic and tourism hub, now Vietnam’s fourth largest city.

The connection will instantly bring a weekly capacity of 2,520 seats into play by commencing operations with seven round trips per week. With a flight-duration of approximately two hours and 10 minutes, the daily schedule will see an Airbus 320 depart Hanoi at 11am and arrive in Can Tho at 1.10pm. On the return leg, the flight will depart Can Tho at 1.45pm and arrive in Hanoi at 3.55pm.
This will be Vietjet’s second flight operating out of Can Tho, which is often referred in Vietnamese as “Tây Đô” (The Western Capital). The airline also recently opened the country’s first ever direct route linking Can Tho to Danang in Central Vietnam.

To celebrate the launch of this new connection, Vietjet will immediately include the route in its latest mega-promotion, which currently means travelers can purchase tickets with Vietjet from VND9,000 every day until 29 September.
This amazing price is available from noon to 2pm and applies to all 27 domestic and international routes (Vietjet now flies to Thailand, Singapore, and South Korea).
To avail of this promotion, customers can just go to www.Vietjetair.com (compatible on smartphones) or www.facebook.com/Vietjetairvietnam (click on the tab “Đặt vé”). All you need to make your booking and purchase your ticket is a major credit card (Master Card, Visa Card, JCB or American Express) or Vietnamese ATM card that has been registered for Internet Banking.
