Vietjet to commence Hanoi (Vietnam) – Yangon (Myanmar) route

(Vietjet, August 26, 2017) – Today in Yangon (Myanmar), Vietjet launched the opening ceremony for its newest international route connecting Hanoi (Vietnam) with Yangon (Myanmar). The ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Pham Binh Minh – Politburo Member, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam and high-ranking dignitaries from Vietnam and Myanmar. The route is expected to meet an increasing demand for travel between the two countries and boost regional trading and integration. The ceremony was on the agenda of the official visit of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong to Myanmar.

Hanoi - Yangon route is operated on a daily basis from August 31, 2017 with flight time of 1 hour 55 minutes per leg. The Hanoi – Yangon flight departs at 12:05 and arrives at 13:30 (local time). The return flight takes off in Yangon at 14:30 and arrives in Hanoi at 16:55 (local time).

After the Ho Chi Minh City – Yangon route, Hanoi – Yangon is the second route commenced by Vietjet to connect Vietnam and Myanmar.
