Vietjet to add more than 2,500 flights during Tet
(Vietjet, HCMC, 22/01/2019) – The new age carrier is set to add more than 2,500 flights in order to meet the increasing demand during TET 2019 and festive season. The additional flights will provide 500,000 seats, offering passengers more choices for traveling or visiting relatives. According to the plan, from January 20 to February 19 (which is December 15 to January 15 respectively on the Lunar Calendar), Vietjet operates more than 12,500 flights, including almost 4,000 international flights, up 20% compared to last year.
Vietjet and the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) have completed the supervision to help Vietjet enhance operation activities, fully ready for execution of its 2019 market development plan, ensure absolute safety on flights for passengers and strengthen public trust to Vietjet as well as Vietnamese aviation.
