(Vietjet, Hanoi, December 12, 2019) – Vietjet’s delegates in the campaign “I love my Fatherland” on Tuesday December 10 ended up the journey of 63 days travelling across the country to spread patriotism to the young generations, in company with the Vietnam Youth Federation.
During the campaign commenced since October 6, Vietjet’s Youth Federation accompanied 1,000 prominent young people around the country in 10 key stops of the campaign, including the country’s southern end of Ca Mau and northern end of Lung Cu as well as Nghe An, where is home province of President Ho Chi Minh.
In Hanoi, the delegates lit incense in Bac Son statue and paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh in his mausoleum. The delegates paid a visit to the Pediatrics in Tan Trieu Hospital and held a music show to entertain those child patients.
Vietjet’s youth delegates presented in almost every stop of the campaign, including the northernmost and the southernmost ends of the country. They actively took part in activities organized to inspire the innovation and pioneering among Vietnamese youth towards the cause of construction, development and defence of the Fatherland.

At the same time, the delegates motivated the pride of cultural and historical values as well as enhanced the patriotism among the young people.
In Thua Thien – Hue, homeland of the first president of Vietnam Youth Federation General Nguyen Chi Thanh, Vietjet delegates visited and lit incense in the General’s monument, offered 15 scholarship packages to the poor students, and gave books on the General’s life and career to Quang Tho Primary School. At the school, Vietjet donated a playground to create chance of recreations for children in home commune of the General.
During the campaign, Vietjet deployed an airplane painted with the campaign’s icon to fly the campaign members to the key stops. The airplane was helpful in spreading the patriotism to young Vietnamese people living abroad thanks to its commercial flights in the broad Vietjet flight network in Asia.
Vietjet Youth Federation’s Chairman Duong Hoai Nam said: “The campaign ‘I love my Fatherland’ 2019 ended here in Hanoi but I believed the philosophy conveyed by meaningful activities carried out during the campaign would accompany the youth everyday in their daily routines. Vietjet will remain its active company in the spreading and highlighting the patriotism in each flight across the country and around Asia.”
Vietjet is to reach the milestone of total number passengers of 100 million in December. Last month, this new-age carrier was named as the best super low-cost airline in the world. Meanwhile, CAPA named Vietjet the best low-cost carrier in the year in Asia-Pacific region.
