Vietjet launches new international route from Ho Chi Minh City to Tainan

(Ho Chi Minh City, June 22, 2016) – Today Vietjet celebrated its new international route from Ho Chi Minh City to Tainan. All passengers, leaders of Tainan Government, Vietnam Ministry of Transportation, Vietjet management members and other dignities welcomed the route launch ceremony at Tan Son Nhat International Airport and Tainan International Airport.

Ho Chi Minh City – Tainan route is the second connection between the southern business and tourism hub of Ho Chi Minh City to Taiwan. All passengers on the inaugural flight also enjoyed Taiwanese traditional dancing and interesting gifts onboard.

The Ho Chi Minh City – Tainan City route is operated on every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday with about three hours and 15 minutes per leg. The flights depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 10:45 (local time) and arrive in Tainan City at 15:00 (local time). Return flights take off from Tainan City at 16:00 (local time) and arrive in Ho Chi Minh City at 18:15 (local time).
