Vietjet Join Terry Fox Run 2014

On 30th November, 2014, Vietjet joined the 18th Terry Fox Run 2014 which was taken place in Phu My Hung, Dist 7, HCMC. This annual event was run by the Consulates General of Canada, Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (Cancham) and Union of Friendship Organization in HCMC. The event received great interest from 16 thousand people.

The Terry Fox Run is an annual non-competitive charity event held in numerous regions around the world in commemoration of Canadian cancer activist Terry Fox and his Marathon of Hope. According to the organization committee, this year’s donations will be used to conduct study of cancer reflecting the people’s commit and acknowledge in supporting research and curing cancer.

The Terry Fox Run Charity has appealed over 650.000.000 USD in donations which is a great support for study and research on cancer. The charity has also sponsored for 1.152 international wide cancer study projects while sharing the inspiring story of Terry Fox through every run.
