Vietjet Air And Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation (VATM) Sign A Cooperative Agreement

(Vietjet, Hanoi, 28/05/2015) – Today, Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company and Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation (VATM) signed a cooperative agreement to promote the interconnection activities to improve the quality and operational efficiency, service quality to ensure flight operations; contribute to the development of unified and healthy aviation market for the public benefit of the aviation community. The ceremony was witnessed by the Minister of Transport - Dinh La Thang, General Economic Security Administration, Vietnam Civil Aviation Administration.

Specifically, both parties have agreed to coordinate in some important contents including: Flight control: supply and exchange information on flight schedule, change of aircraft and routes; Flight safety: exchange information about aviation incident, accidents categorized according to regulations; Communication, navigation and surveillance; Aviation and Meteorology News. Accordingly, both parties shall organize annual flying sensation (On-Job Training) for air traffic surveyor of VATM along with professional training for flight operating staff of Vietjet.

This is the combination between one of three important departments of Vietnam Civil Aviation sector and the New Age Airline with the highest growth rate in the region, which shall contribute to creating more opportunities, more modern and convenient services and products for passengers.

I wish both Parties should have a tight cooperative relationship and increasing cooperation, in order to provide both parties’ passengers modern and advanced services with the best costs”, said Chairwoman of Vietjet Air’s Board of Directors - Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha. 

Mr. Dinh Viet Thang – Chairman of Member Council of VATM said: "We are delighted to sign the cooperative agreement with a New Age Airline as Vietjet Air.
