(Vietjet, Ho Chi Minh City, October 16, 2026) - Vietjet has been recognized by Forbes Vietnam as one of the “Top 50 ESG Leading Companies 2026,” alongside Vinamilk, HDBank, REE, PV Drilling and other prominent businesses. The recognition, presented at the 2026 Sustainable Development Conference, marks another milestone in the airline’s journey to align business growth with environmental, social and governance responsibilities.
The list was compiled through a multi-stage evaluation process, including an independent technical assessment by SGS Vietnam, recognizing companies that have integrated ESG principles into their business operations.

For Vietjet, the green transition begins with flight operations: modernizing its aircraft fleet, improving fuel efficiency and adopting technology to optimize operational performance. Since 2024, the airline has been a pioneer in operating flights using sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) refuelled in Vietnam.
Vietjet and the University of Oxford (UK) have published research findings on net-zero solutions for the global aviation industry. The research aims to identify additional solutions to help the aviation sector achieve net-zero emissions, with a focus on economic feasibility and the potential to leverage existing fuel supply infrastructure.

Beyond environmental initiatives, Vietjet invests in workforce training through Vietjet Aviation Academy, fosters a multicultural working environment and implements community programs. The airline also continues to strengthen information transparency, risk management and financial discipline, linking sustainable development with the efficient use of capital.
Ms. Ho Ngoc Yen Phuong, Vietjet Vice Chairwoman, Vice President and CFO shared: “At Vietjet, ESG is the foundation for long-term growth. We continue to invest in a modern fleet, develop our human resources and enhance corporate governance, while making efficient use of resources as we work toward net-zero emissions by 2050.”
The recognition from Forbes follows Vietjet’s 2025 Sustainability Award from AirlineRatings and its inclusion among the Top Green Vietnam ESG Enterprises in 2026, highlighting the airline’s continued efforts to advance sustainable aviation.
