Film “Planes” featured on VietjetAir jet

A number of the colorful characters from the up-coming film "Planes" will be painted on the side of a VietJetAir aircraft in an exciting and unique collaboration with Disney, the creator of some of the world's best loved animations. This latest feature length animation is very much a successor to the "Cars" movies, which was created by Pixar, the groundbreaking graphics group, partly funded by the legendary Steve Jobs, who became Pixar's majority stakeholder. Later, Disney bought Pixar and the "Cars" franchise continued a successful runThis time around, the animators have transferred the action to the skies!

"Planes" is an entertaining tale of adventure told at a dizzying speed. Its main characteris Dusty, who is not only a country bumpkin but also afraid of heights – regardless heis dying to overcome his fears and take part in the biggest-ever jet race. With the whole-hearted support of his new found friends, Dusty stretches out his wings to face the biggest challenge of his life. This is truly a story that encourages others to overcome such obstacles with all our heart!

If American Airlines is proud of its premiere of this new adventure on August 9, 2013, in Vietnam, VietJetAir - now Vietnam's fastest growing airline –is constantly creating colorful and striking images of Dusty, Tripp… as to set itself from the competition as the country's most dynamic carrier. In Taiwan, Eva Air used to paint the famous Kitty cat on its fuselage.

The airline always flies the flag for Vietnam by choosing the national colors of red and yellow as VietJetAir's base colors. But last year the airline went one step further by featuring the country's official logo (a stylized five-petal lotus flower) and slogan,"Vietnam - Timeless Charm", on its jets in a special collaboration with the national tourism board. The airline has also featured the image of its own famously fun and friendly stewards and the two stars Johnny Tri Nguyen and Mai Phuong Thuy on the sides of its planes; and now it is the image of "Planes" animation. All in all, this is a message, a cultural connection for Vietnam to get closer with global entertainment…

Licensed to operate both domestic and global routes, VietJetAir is now operating more than 400 flights per week with 11 domestic routes and two international routes connecting Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok. With a fleet of brand-new, modern aircraft – maintained by the world's best service providers – and a reputation for operating safe and cordial flights with fun, friendly air stewards, VietJetAir was honored to be voted "the Most Friendly Transportation"and"Best Airline for Promotions in Vietnam" by the readers of the Vietnam Economic Times.
