Aircraft diversion for technical check
An Airbus A321 performing flight VJ975 from Incheon International Airport (South Korea) to Phu Quoc (Vietnam) at 1:50 (local time) on June 28, 2023. As soon as a technical warning was detected, the captain decided to divert the plane to Laoag international Airport in the Philippines for technical check.
It was a safe landing and all passengers disembarked the plane normally. During the aircraft’s technical check, Vietjet also dispatched another aircraft to Laoag to get all passengers to Phu Quoc at 18:45 local time on the same day.
