The awards celebrates the leadership and accomplishments of the low cost aviation industry

The airline’s highly successful connection linking Ho Chi Minh City with Hanoi was joined in the Top 5 by new routes from SpiceJet (India), EasyJet (England), Southwest (America) and AirAsia X (Malaysia).

Pritam Singh, Deputy General Director of VietjetAir said: “This acclaim caps what has been a stellar debut year for VietJetAir. Our Hanoi- Ho Cho Minh City route has proven to be a winner with Vietnamese and foreign travelers and now we have been honored alongside our peers by the travel industry.”

“In a short period VietjetAir has already established itself as a leading airline in Vietnam,” added Singh. “We operate as a new generation, low-cost carrier with new Airbus A320 aircraft. All VietjetAir flights are also staffed with friendly and enthusiastic flight attendants and feature maximum safety measures and impressive service quality at a low cost. This incredible acknowledgment at the Budgie$ & Travel Awards is a great acknowledgement of our outstanding products and services.”

The inaugural flight for Ho Chi Minh City – Hanoi route landed at Noi Bai International Airport in late 2011
