Vietjet Welcomes its 10 millionth passenger

On January, 31th 2015, in a series of events inaugurated passenger terminal and publication planning Vinh Airport become an International Airport, Vietjet solemn ceremony to welcome 10 million passenger after over three years to take off. The lucky passenger was Kang Jeong Hee - Korean businessmen in HCM city to travell on the flight VJ270 SGN-VII. Passengers were lucky Vietjet awarded “One year of free flight”. Attending the event were leaders of the Government; Ministry of Transportation the leader of the ministries, central sectors and localities Nghe An province, leadership Airports Corporation of Vietnam.

Mr Nguyen Sinh Hung - Chairman of the National Assembly, Mr Nguyen Xuan Phuc - Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Dinh La Thang - Minister of Transportation and leaders of ministries central and local agencies, Airports Corporation of Vietnam and led of the Vietjet welcomes its 10 millionth passenger.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung - Deputy Chairman Vietjet speech at the ceremony: “Vietjet congratulate the passenger terminal open and announce plan Vinh Airport become an International Airport. Especially the event to coincide with Vinh International Airport welcomes 10 millionth Vietjet's passenger. The passenger terminal building - Vinh International Airport scale, functional fit, modern architecture, in addition to meet the needs of passenger transport is predicted to rise, also contributed significantly to the development of transport infrastructure to serve the cause of social and economic development of Nghe An province in particular and the North Central region in general. Vietjet committed to continued expansion route to Vinh city, serving the needs of travel and trade, strengthen the promotion of trade and tourism between Vinh city and other cities, to make10 million passengers today will not stop rising rapidly in the coming years”.

Mr. Dinh La Thang - Minister of Transportation to share in the ceremony, “Three years ago, Vietjet flew in the waiting, longing of industry leadership and a lot of people. And today, Vietjet became the “phenomenon” with images of Vietnam's outstanding innovation. Vietjet transporting 10 million passengers, the quality with extensive flight network and plans to develop strong fleet. I'm glad to see all of the investment of Vietjet firm. The airline has been a great development, ensuring better security, aviation safety, to maintain quality of the service towards the passenger".
