Vietjet receives two more aircraft

(Ho Chi Minh City – January 21st, 2016) – Today, Vietjet’s brand-new aircraft, an A321 (coded VN-A667), will expectedly land at 17h30 (local time) at Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City after flying from Hamburg in Germany.

The aircraft is the twelveth of the milestone agreement between Vietjet and Airbus for acquiring and leasing 100 aircraft. With its advanced design of less fuel costs and CO2 emissions, the new aircraft is expected to boost the carrier’s efficiency and protect environment.

On the same day, Vietjet also receives a leasing A321 (code LZ-PMZ) which landed at Tan Son Nhat International Airport at 14h30.

To welcome its fleet’s newest members, Vietjet has operated 1,000 more flights which will supply 200,000 more tickets for passengers. Moreover, to meet the surging demand during Tet holiday, Vietjet also launched new routes connecting destinations within Vietnam and other countries.
