Vietjet Receives One More New Sharklet A320

(Vietjet, HCMC, March 20th, 2014) – Vietjet has received new Sharklet A320 today March 20th. This new Sharklet has increase the fleet to 12 aircrafts.

The new Sharklet registered as VN-A678 is a member of A320-200 family, the most up-to-date design of Airbus. The craft has just been delivered from Airbus manufacturing facility in Hamburg, Germany. With the newly added Sharklet, Vietjet is able to provide more than 10.000 seats per week to meet the increasing travel demand for high season especially this coming summer. The increase of the fleet also helps Vietjet pursue its expansion plan.

Currently Vietjet operates on 23 domestic and international routes with more than 600 flights per week. In 2014 the Airline is ambitious to fly expand its operations to regional economic centres in Asia-Pacific e.g. Singapore, Taipei, South Korea, and Japan. The carrier expects to provide passengers with more destinations and extensive flight schedule.
