Vietjet participates in Amadeus’s Global Distribution System

On July 3rd, 2014, Vietjet signed an agreement with Amadeus – a leading company in the industry of Global Airlines and Tourism. Accordingly, Vietjet will expand flight routes and distribution channel globally as well as connecting with more than 446 different airlines within Amadeus network.

The signing rite between Mr. Luu Duc Khanh – Managing Director of Vietjet and Mr. Hazem Hussein - EVP – Airline Commercial Asia Pacific.

During the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung – Vice President of Vietjet BoD said: “with this contract, tourism agencies in all over the world can purchase Vietjet air ticket easily and be immediately confirmed booking within the system. Besides, the cooperation enables travel agencies to connect with each other and find out more about products, promotion on both domestic and international flights of Vietjet. Joining Amadeus will motivate the service introduction process of Vietjet to customers not only locally but internationally…we are also airming at reaching the Eastern Europe and Nothern America”

After the ceremony, all the connections between both sides will be finished fastly. Meanwhile, Vietjet also chooses Amadeus electronic ticket selling system to manage the additional services applied for Vietnam market and within local area.
