Vietjet Air Announces New Routes & Flight Frequency Increase

Budget carrier Vietjet Air is to spread its wings to more business and tourism hubs of Vietnam. Besides the current HCMC-Hanoi route, the carrier will launch new services between Ho Chi Minh City and Danang on April 27 and between Hanoi and Nha Trang on May 19. The former will have two flights a day and the later will operate one daily flight per day.

The carrier will also increase flight frequency of HCMC-Hanoi route to 8 flights per day on April 27, 2012 from the current 3 ones.

Vietjet Air’s commercial representative said: “With new services and more flights, Vietjet Air believe that we will provide businessmen and tourists with more choices on destinations and flight time for their trips.  Passengers also can save their time and costs as they are able to fly out and in within a day.”

“Passengers who have flown with Vietjet Air handed us positive feedback on everything from our modern planes and competitive prices to our comfortable seats and the quality of the food on board. Together with international operational standards, we will continue to enhance these strengths to help introduce more tourism attractions and economic hubs to Vietnamese and international tourists,” the representative added.

Vietjet Air officially enter Vietnam’s aviation market in late 2011 with one service between HCMC and Hanoi. As of 27 February, 2012, the carrier has made 360 flights, carrying more than 40,000 passengers with loading rate being more than 90%. The carrier has seen no cancelled flights with most of its flights being punctual. The low-cost carrier plans to launch more domestic and international flights in 2012. Flights to other destinations in Vietnam and Asia will be launched during 2012.

Further information about new services and flight frequency can be found at Vietjet Air’s website vietjetair.com or call 1900 1886 from 8am until 10pm every day.

Vietjet Air is the first Vietnamese private carrier licensed to fly domestic and international routes.
