Vietjet advances the second dividend payment of 2018 at 10%, increase payout dividend ratio of the year to 55%

VJC Board of Directors have just announced to advance 10% cash dividend payment to its shareholders, so they will receive a cash dividend of 30% in the fiscal year 2018, corresponding to the amount that company pay for its shareholders is nearly VND1,625 billion.

Resolution dated April 8th, 2019 of the Board of Directors of Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company (HOSE code: VJC) approved advancing the second dividend payment of 2018 at the rate of 10% (receiving VND1,000 per shares). The final registration date is April 24th, 2019, the ex-right date is April 23rd, 2019.

Consequently, Vietjet will pay more than VND542 billion to advance the second dividend payment of 2018.

According to the Resolution of Annual Shareholder Meeting 2018, the planned dividend payout ratio is 50% in both shares and cash. Thanks to its high and continous growth, abundant cash resources, BOD of the new-aged airline has submitted to its shareholders 2018 dividend payment at the rate of 55%, higher than the previous approved plan.

Vietjet has a good record of paying high dividends from year to year, from 50% to 70% in both cash and shares. With 2019 business plan, it’s believe that BOD of the company will continue to submit the high dividend payout ratio of 2019 at the coming Annual General Meeting of shareholders.
