Over 3,000 happy customers pick up VietJetAir flights to Bangkok/ Ho Chi Minh City for VND99,000 / THB99

(Ho Chi Minh City, December 22, 2012) – By the end of VietjetAir’s incredible promotion for the airline’s new route between Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok, there were 3,102 tickets snapped up for just VND99,000 in Vietnam or THB99 in Thailand on www.vietjetair.com.

The route will open on February 10, 2013 and tickets sold during the promotion were valid until the December 31, 2013. All customers had to do was get online on December 20 between 9pm and 11.59pm with a Visa or MasterCard and pick a date.

“We’d like to congratulate the 3,102 lucky customers who procured a ticket for our new international route between Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City,” said Desmond Lin, Business Development Manager of VietjetAir. “We look forward to introducing these two amazing cities to residents of Vietnam and Thailand and tourists travelling around Southeast Asia next year.”

One lucky customer, Mr. Truong Duy Tam from District 8 in Ho Chi Minh City, has been hoping to visit his sister in Thailand for two years but could never afford the trip. “She lives with her family in Thailand and I haven’t seen her in such a long time but now I have two super cheap tickets I can travel there with my mother for a very reasonable price. When I told my mother she was over the moon,” he said.

In the near future, VietjetAir will launch more promotions and more international flights to major cities around Asia.

“This is a new chapter for air travel in Southeast Asia and it’s also just the beginning,” said Desmond Lin. “We will create more opportunities for people and tourists all across the region to travel on high-quality, safe and affordable flights. Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure, with VietjetAir you can save more and fly more!”

Customers can buy tickets via the website www.vietjetair.com, or call 19001886 in Thailand. VietjetAir has also established a sales network with the assistance of QE Tour throughout Thailand.
