Notice of cancelling a flight from South Korea to Vietnam on October 7, 2020

Vietjet announces the cancellation of VJ863 flight from Seoul (Incheon, South Korea) to Ho Chi Minh City on October 7, 2020 in order to ensure the pandemic prevention and control, to serve passengers safely and to prepare convenient accommodations and hotels for people entering Vietnam on commercial flights in accordance with the recommendations of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

Vietjet supports passengers completed payment for tickets on the flight to transfer to another flight or get credit shell or refund free of charge through the channels which passengers has purchased from.

The airline is working closely with the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Department of Health and the Department of Tourism to deal with accommodations that are allowed to gather isolated guests so as to ensure the best for the pandemic prevention and conveniently provide products and services for passengers.

Vietjet will update the operation information as soon as the authorities are notified about the quarantine process and options of paid accommodations for passengers.

The airline sincerely apologizes and hopes for passengers’ understanding for the force majeure in the context of COVID-19 epidemic.
