Guide to migrating from Vietjet Skyclub to Vietjet Skyjoy: limitless amazing experiences and privileges

From May 11, 2023, the Vietjet SkyClub membership program will officially be upgraded to Vietjet SkyJoy, and the SkyClub payment method will also be upgraded to the SkyPay e-wallet.

To ensure a seamless experience in enjoying services and loyal customers’ privileges, please activate your Vietjet SkyJoy account and SkyPay e-wallet by following the detailed instructions below. 

How to activate your Vietjet SkyJoy account

• Step 1: Access the Vietjet Air website/app or SkyJoy app
• Step 2: Sign in with the phone number used to create your Vietjet SkyClub account
• Step 3: Enter the OTP sent via text message
• Step 4: Set up a PIN
• Step 5: You have successfully activated your Vietjet SkyJoy account and will be directed to the main browser of the Vietjet Air website/app or Vietjet SkyJoy app to begin enjoying the loyal customers privileges.

Starting from May 11, 2023, your entire Vietjet SkyClub account balance will be transferred to your SkyPay e-wallet and can be used as usual to purchase flight tickets and other ancillary products and services from Vietjet. Please activate your SkyPay wallet and link your bank account according to the following instructions for a more convenient use of SkyPay.

How to activate your SkyPay e-wallet

• Step 1: Access the Vietjet Air app and select "Sign in"
  • Step 1.1: Enter your phone number and PIN
  • Step 1.2: Select "Activate e-wallet"
• Step 2: Select "Link e-wallet for payment"
• Step 3: Select "Unverified account"
  • Step 3.1: Choose "Verify now"
  • Step 3.2: Choose identification by Citizen ID Card or passport
  • Step 3.3: Take photos of the required documents:
    • If choosing identification by Citizen ID Card: take photos of the front and back of the card
    • If choosing identification by passport: take a photo of the information page in the passport
    • Notice:
      ➢ Documents must be photographed directly, not through another screen or intermediary image
      ➢ Your face must be kept within the frame
  • Step 3.4: Review your information and select "Verify information"
  • Step 3.5: Receive verification notification

To make payments with SkyPay e-wallet, please link your account according to the following instructions.

How to link a domestic bank account/debit card

Conditions: The phone number registered for the e-wallet must match the phone number registered with the bank account

1. Linking an account/card from HDBank:

• Step 1: Select the banner "Link card & bank account"
• Step 2: On the "Linked account" page, select "Add card/account"
• Step 3: Select HDBank to link and choose "Begin"
• Step 4: Enter card/account number, cardholder name, Citizen ID card/passport number, and select "Link now"
• Step 5: Enter the OTP sent by the bank to the registered phone number
• Step 6: Successful bank linkage

2. Linking an account/card from other banks

• Step 1: Select the banner "Link card & bank account"
• Step 2: On the "Linked account” page, select "Add card/account"
• Step 3: Select the bank to link and choose "Begin"
• Step 4: Enter the domestic debit card/account information and select "Link now"
• Step 5: Enter the OTP sent by the bank to the registered phone number. Select "Continue"
• Step 6: Successful bank linkage

In case you want to withdraw money from your SkyPay e-wallet, you can follow the steps below. Notice: Currently, customers can only withdraw to a linked HDBank account. The withdrawal limit depends on the e-wallet.

How to withdraw money from SkyPay

• Step 1: Select the "Withdraw money" icon on the homepage
• Step 2: Enter/select the amount to withdraw and choose the linked HDBank account
• Step 3: Check the information and confirm the withdrawal
• Step 4: Enter the PIN to withdraw money

Once you have completed activating your Vietjet SkyJoy account and SkyPay e-wallet, please install the SkyJoy app to easily redeem for Vietjet flight tickets and vouchers from over 250 much-loved brands in Vietnam.

How to install the SkyJoy app

• Step 1: Download the SkyJoy app from the App Store/Google Play Store
• Step 2: Log in with the phone number used to activate the Vietjet SkyJoy account and set the PIN

If you have already downloaded the SkyJoy app and have a Vietjet SkyJoy account, please log in to the app and set the PIN (if not done yet) to earn SkyPoints and redeem limitless rewards with Vietjet SkyJoy.

After completing the above steps, you can continue using the privileges of Vietjet SkyJoy members, such as purchasing flight tickets and ancillary products/services from Vietjet; while earning SkyPoints and redeeming many rewards from Vietjet flights to services from 250+ other famous brands.
