Aircraft diversion for technical check

An Airbus A321 performing flight VJ975 from Incheon International Airport (South Korea) to Phu Quoc (Vietnam) at 1:50 (local time) on June 28, 2023. As soon as a technical warning was detected, the captain decided to divert the plane to Laoag international Airport in the Philippines for technical check.

It was a safe landing and all passengers disembarked the plane normally. During the aircraft’s technical check, Vietjet also dispatched another aircraft to Laoag to get all passengers to Phu Quoc at 18:45 local time on the same day.

During the process, the airport and airline timely deployed catering services with breakfast and lunch served to all passengers. Vietjet has been rated 7/7, the highest safety ranking by AirlinesRating and passenger safety is always the utmost priority of the airline.

All passengers on the flight expressed their appreciation to the flight’s crew as they landed in Phu Quoc with “Hello Vietnam” song in the background.
