Part 1 : General Information of Flight Care Insurance
1.1 Period of Insurance
Period of Insurance of Insurance starts from the scheduled time of departure, which was announced and updated by 22:00 (local time) of the day before the scheduled flight day. Expiry of cover ends since the flight landed and insurance events occurred such as Delay Flight, Flight Cancellation, Returned Flight, The flight landing to An Airport, Missed connecting flight Other Than Scheduled Arrival or Landing Flight- which does not arise insurance events.
1.2 The Insured Person
Applicable to all passengers aged 2 (two) years and above using Vietjet's Deluxe/SkyBoss ticket and travelling on all regular flights operated by Vietjet, regardless of nationality, meeting travel requirements in accordance with Vietjet's Conditions of Carriage, during the Period of Insurance.
Flight Care is an insurance program, which was purchased by Vietjet as a special gift for passengers. For per 01 (One) Deluxe/SkyBoss ticket, the passenger is entitled to the respective Deluxe Flight Care / SkyBoss Flight Care benefits upon the occurrence of Insurance Events.
1.3 Insurance Events
Insurance benefits are in accordance with the following insurance events:
- Delay Flight from 180 minutes and above
- Flight Cancellation
- Returned Flight
- Flight landing to another airport
- Missed Connecting Flight (only for SkyBoss passengers)
- Lost Checked Baggage
- Delayed Checked Baggage.

1.4 Exclusions
- Not applicable for charter flights operated by Vietjet and all flights operated by Thai Vietjet
- Not applicable for Eco tickets, free of charges tickets, gift voucher/sponsor tickets…
- Not applicable for Infant (under 02 years old)
- The Insured Person is denied or prohibited to travel by the airline company.
- The Insured Person intimidates the flight security and safety.
- The Flight is not operated or delayed/ cancelled/ returned to departure airport due to order or decision of the government regulatory bodies.
- The Flight cannot be operated due to the airport is closed, being strictly quarantined, or stopped/banned by the government regulatory bodies.
- War, terrorism, strike, military operations or aircraft being attacked.
- Flights are directly affected by epidemics as officially notified by the Ministry of Health or WHO (*)
(*) This term is applicalble to Flights where covered events (Flight Cancellation, Turnover Flight, Other Airport Arrival, Missed connecting flight) due to:
- Infected Passengers or Crews.
- Airport landing/takeoff isolated or landing/takeoff due to disease.
- Request from an Authorized Disease Authority. (In case : authorities request to stop flights due to epidemic via officially notified statement)

Part 3: Compensation Procedure
3.1 The valid period to make a claim: Within 365 days from the date of the Insurance Event occurs.
3.2 Time for compensation process: Up to 10 working days from the date where the complete compensation file received (according to the post office’s recorded)
