*FARES AND PRICING*

- Vietjet offers Skyboss (Y class) and eco discount (Z,W,U,J,I,B,H,K,L,M,N,O,Q,R,S,T class) on all flights

- All fare types are offered for oneway, roundtrip, multiple segments on point to point basic.

- Whole VJ domestic and international route is combinable.

- VJ fare distribution differentiates VJ carrier publish fares and market private fares (depend on the market).
 

*SKYBOSS SERVICE*

10kg carry-on baggage; 30 Kg checked baggage and 01 (one) golf club set under 15 Kg; Priority check-in; Priority seat selection; Comfort kit 3 in 1 (applicable on flights from 4 hours and above); Priority baggage service; Priority security check (depending on airport infrastructure condition); Luxury lounge (Not applicable on Thailand domestic flights, and at airports where there is no standard lounge service); Private car transporting to the aircraft; Complimentary food & beverage served onboard; Complimentary SkyBoss Flight Care (not eligible for flights operated by Thai Vietjet)
 

*INFANTS, CHILDREN AND UNACCOMPANIED MINOR*

-Infants under 14 days of age: VJ does not accept for cariage

-Infant fare will apply a fixed amount per segment as below:

+ Domestic: 5 USD/segment/infant (VAT is not included)

+ International: 9 USD/segment/infant or JPY 1,000/segment/infant

-If the infant is less than 2 years old on the outbound flight but more than 2 years old on the inbound flight, a seat must be purchased for that inbound flight

-To fulfill safety requirement, Vietjet will limit the number of infant per flight 10 percent maximum load of aircraft.

-Only one infant is permitted for each adult passenger. The infant must share a parent’s seat.

-A child is a passenger who is between 2 and 12 years old and is travelling with an adult. Each child must purchase a separate seat and pay the adult airfare. No discount for child fare. For child passenger, code CHD and the date of birth must always be included in PNR name field.

FOR EXAMPLE: SHIN/HWACHUL MSTR(CHD/05APR10)

-Unaccompanied children under the age of 14 will not be accept for carriage. Unless they are accompanied by a person aged at least 18 years old.
 

*RESERVATIONS AND BOOKING PROCEDURES*

-Sell Vietjetair class from availability.

-Married segment sell is not support.

-Passenger title is mandatory for Vietjet and is accepted by VJ as MRS/MS/MR for adult, MISS/MSTR for child.

-Passenger name used in the reservation and the ticket mus be matched that is present in passport. First name includes middle name if any.

FOR EXAMPLE: LEE/MYOUNGHEE MRS, NGUYEN/VAN HUNG MR

-Name change not permitted. Correct spelling first name before issuing ticket is permitted. After ticket issued, need reissue ticket with fee.

-Vietjet air itineraries can be one way, return or open jaw.

-Not permitted to create passive booking (PK), ghost segment (GK). Travel agent to issue tickets only on active segments.

-With HX booking agents have to screen and cancel all HX booking, if not agent will pay ADM booking fee if any.

-Infant should be booked at the initial creation of the booking to limit non-synchronization between 1A and VJ system.

-Revalidate: Not permitted

-Reissue: Permitted with fee according to the fare rules. And the fee updated on the tax box “CP”

-Refund: Not permitted

-Void ticket: Permitted if ticket is void the same day of ticketing and travel commencing must be out of 24h of flight departure. Travel agent must cancel all segments for void ticket, if not agent may pay ADM

For exp: Ticket void at the same ticketing day of travel departure at the same date is not allowed, ADM will be issued.

*TICKETING TIME LIMIT*

-Ticketing is required within 72 hours of reservation or at least 24 hours prior to departure. Within 24 hours before departure, booking will be cancelled after 30 minutes of reservation.

-Bookings can be made until 3 hours prior to departure

-Travel agent must add ticketing time limit compliant with VJ time limit policy during booking process, if not booking will be canceled without advance notices.
 

*MODIFICATION / CANCELLATION*

-Please refer to the fare rules for our modification and refund rules. Ensure to brief the passenger of the same before issuing the ticket.

-Note: Vietjet air touch points will not be able to assist in modifying or canceling bookings. Passenger will need to contact the issuing agent only.
 

*VOID/REFUND*

-If the e-tickets attached to PNR’s are either voided or refunded, such PNR’s will be can cancelled without notice. Ensure you cancel the reservations before your void/refund or exchanged the ticket. ADM will be raised if failure to do so.


*ADM POLICY*

-Void/Refund without cancelling booking on GDS will be charged by base fare including VAT if any.

-Penalty for failure to cancel HX segment is 10 USD.

-ADM admin fee of 5000 KRW or 5 USD per transaction will be included
 

*ADVICE OF SCHEDULE CHANGE (ASC)*

-VJ send TTY ASC TK and UN/TK in case of schedule change. Agent is responsible to advice schedule change to passenger for changes. After passenger is notified and agree for the change, agent will reissue ticket without fee (NO ADC) appropriated schedule change action, note in endorsement box “SC VJ FILGHT NBR DDMMM” and advice passenger new ticket number and VJ record number.

-In case of schedule change above 3 hours based on the original time of passenger booking, agent does the refund and notified refund entry: TRFU/WA SC VJNNN DDMMM

All booking refund segments must be canceled immediately, if not agent will pay ADM for booking fee.


*GROUP POLICY*

-If you want to book the same itinerary for more than 9 passengers, you will need to contact the local Vietjet air office. In the absence of a local Vietjet air office, you can contact our Group’s desk. The email ID is GROUP@VIETJETAIR.COM
 

*BAGGAGE INFORMATION*

Cabin baggage: Each passenger travelling (Except infants no seat) is permitted for 1 main item of cabin baggage and 1 other small item with total combined weight must not exceed 7kg on eco fare and 10kg on skyboss fare.

-Dimension of main items must not exceed 36CM (width) x 56CM (height) x 23CM (depth)

-Small item may be a handbag, coat, umbrella, laptop, suitbag or for duty free goods.

Checked baggage: Each passenger travelling may check in up to 20kg of baggage on eco fare and up to 30kg on skyboss fare with no additional charge.

-Besides the free 20kg of baggage, each passenger is allowed to check in one more baggage. The total weight of the two baggages must not exceed 40kg. Payment for second baggage can be made through VJ website, VJ ticketing office or at the airport. Fee and charges are available at here

-Dimensions of main items must not exceed 119CM (height) x 119CM (width) x 81CM (depth)

-If any piece of baggage does not comply with any of the above conditions, it must be checked in to the aircraft hold.

Additional fees will apply to the overweight/oversize checked baggage. Refer to current “baggage fees and charges’ page at vietjetair.com

-No single item may exceed 32kg in weight.

-No item can exceed 1.9 metres for flights operated by aircraft A320.

-The excessive baggage or require extra assistance will be check in at least 2 hours prior to the departure time for domestic flights and 3 hours for international flights.

-Firearms for hunting or sporting purposes is not accepted for carriage by VJ

*TRANSIT PASSENGER*

-Depending on passenger’s nationality, a transit visa for Vietnam is required if passengers is transiting VJ international points like BKK, SIN, ICN, TPE…

-No through check in of passenger and baggage will be possible except specified routings at here

*CHECK IN*

-Passenger should carry a valid electronic ticket showing the flight and date for which he wants to check in.

-Check in counter open two (02) hours before the scheduled domestic flight’s departure time and three (03) hours before the scheduled international flight’s departure time. Check in closing time is fourty (40) minutes for domestic flight and fifty (50) minutes for international flight.

-Passenger is required to show e-ticket and passport compliant with government regulation.

-At the check-in counter, if passenger nameis not found on the check-in system, passengers is required to provide e-ticket with VJ locator.

-Travel agent is responsible to notify VJ locator on the e-ticket when passenger do the check-in to help station make check-in quickly.

-Online check in via website www.vietjetair.com is supported with VJ locator.

-Through check-in is not supported except specified routings at here

*INFLIGHT SERVICE*

*SPECIAL NOTE*

-Vietjet generally requires that each passenger be able to travel independently unless travelling with an appropriate accompanying passenger. That is, Vietjet generally will not accept a person to travel alone unless the person can travel safely without assistance, supervision or both. Vietjet applies the independent traveller requirement because it will not have the systems, staff or facilities available to assume responsibility for a customer’s boarding or disembarkation, nor to monitor, supervise or assist (as required) during the flight.
 

*SPECIAL ASSISTANCE*

-Wheelchairs: Require notice 24 hours before departure through contact number +84 1900 1886 and tell them VJ ref locator

-Extra seat (EXST) - Passengers who require an extra seat for personal comfort must purchase an additional seat. Unlimited number of EXST purchase on all flights. Passengers needs to register in advance to prepare an additional safety seat belts for passengers.

-Note: Carriage policy for wheelchairs, please call the Vietjet air telephone support line 1900 1886 for more information on wheelchairs and tell them VJ ref locator.


BLIND PASSENGER (BLND)

-For accompanied BLND passenger: We accept for carriage of accompanied blind passenger as normal passenger. Accompanied passenger is required from 18 years of age or older, healthy enough to assist BLND passengers; Each accompanied passenger is accepted to travel with 02 BLND.

-For unaccompanied BLND passenger:

+ Request must be made at least 24 hours before departure time via Vietjet ticketing office or Call Center.

+ BLND passengers who are able to self-service in all itinerary is accepted carriage.

+ BLND passengers must have assistance from relatives at departure and arrival terminal.
 

DEAF PASSENGER (DEAF)

-For accompanied deaf passengers: Same as blind passengers.

-For unaccompanied deaf passengers: Same as blind passengers.
 

*PASSPORT AND VISA*

-Please ensure a passport valid for the duration of the trip. Passport is required some destinations to be valid for a certain length of time, in general 6 months after completion of travel. A visa will be required to obtain for some destination and it is passenger responsibility to do.

-For information on passport or visa requirements, passenger should contact the embassy, high commission or consulate of the country to which travelling will be on arrival. At the departure gate, the passport, visa and boarding pass will be checked to ensure that passenger have the valid documents for the flight and acceptance in the destination country. It is passenger responsibility to ensure the documents are correct. If the documents are incorrect, Vietjet air will not allow for travel and no refund or alternative flight will be offered.
 

*LOUNGE ACCESS*

For passenger purchased skyboss class can enjoy complimentary food, drink and entertain with available facilities on the lounge.

FAQ

How to handle booking and ticket when PNR is incorrect?

In case of incorrect first name, agent rebooks flight, reissue ticket compliant with VJ policy, and collect name change fee.

In case of incorrect first name, VJ accepts to correct name spelling without fee before issue ticket. First name change after issue ticket is charged USD 36 and ticket must be reissued.

-Create new booking with correct name change

-Apply old e-ticket number to new e-ticket

-Proceed to ticketing (reissue) and RMK correct spelling name

-Cancel old booking

1. Wheelchair service:
a. Wheelchair service is a service offered to disabled or medical passengers with reduced mobility, including:
- Passengers requiring wheelchair for ramp (WCHR) are passengers who can ascend/ descend steps and make own way to/from cabin seat, but requiring assistance for distance to/from aircraft across ramp
- Passengers requiring wheelchair for step (WCHS) are passengers who can not ascend/ descend steps, but are able to make own way to/from cabin seat, requiring assistance for distance to/from aircraft across ramp and up/down steps
- Passengers requiring wheelchair for cabin (WCHC) are passengers who completely immobile, requiring assistance to/from aircraft, up/down steps and to/from cabin seat

b. Conditions of acceptance:
- Requests must be made at least 24 hours before departure time via VietJet Ticketing office or Call center.
- Passenger’s health are well enough to make the flight. In case of illness, passengers must complete medical clearance to ensure healthy enough to make the flight (as Passengers required for medical clearance before departure).
- The maximum number of passengers requiring wheelchair on each flight is limited depend on individual service.
- Passengers requiring wheelchair for step(WCHS): be accepted when travel with accompanied passenger, who is from 18 years of age or older, healthy enough to assist WCHS passengers up/down steps and on board; each accompanied passenger is accepted to travel with only 01 WCHS.
- Passengers requiring wheelchair for cabin (WCHC): We do not provide wheelchair equipment on board; If passengers agree with the condition: we accept for carriage as WCHS.

2. Service for Blind passengers (BLND):
a. Service for Blind passengers is a service offered to passengers, who lost the ability to sense the visual partly or completely, and need special supports.

b. Conditions of acceptance:
- For accompanied BLND passenger: We accept for carriage of accompanied blind passenger as normal passenger; accompanied passenger is required from 18 years of age or older, healthy enough to assist BLND passengers; Each accompanied passenger is accepted to travel with 02 BLND.
- For unaccompanied BLND passenger: 
• Requests must be made at least 24 hours before departure time via VietJet Ticketing office or Call center.
• BLND passengers who are able to self-service in all itinerary is accepted carriage.
• BLND passengers must have assistance from relatives at departure and arrival terminal.

3. Service for Deaf passengers (DEAF):
a. Service for deaf passengers is a service offered to passengers, who lost the ability to sense the visual partly or completely, and need special supports.

b. Conditions of acceptance:
- For accompanied DEAF passengers: We accept for carriage of accompanied deaf passenger as normal passenger; accompanied passenger is required from 18 years of age or older, healthy enough to assist DEAF passengers.
- For unaccompanied DEAF passengers: 
• Requests must be made at least 24 hours before departure time via VietJet Ticketing office or Call center.
• DEAF passengers who are able to self-service in all itinerary is accepted carriage

4. Extra seat service (EXST):
a. Extra seat service is a service offered to passengers, who are oversized, require 2 adjacent seats on board in the same flight; or the service offered to passengers requiring 2 adjacent seats for more convenient.

b. Conditions of acceptance:
- Please contact with our ticketing offices, agents, Call center for EXST requirement.
- Application fare as passenger book 1 more ticket at the time of booking service.

5. Pregnant women (PREG):
Pregnant women are required to inform us at the check-in counter and satisfied conditions below:
a. Pregnant women are required to sign the waiver of responsibility form.

b. Pregnant women over 27 weeks – 32 weeks:
- Passengers present maternity certificate form satisfy conditions following:
• The certificate is confirmed by maternity doctor.
• The certificate must not be more than 7 days old from the date of travel
• Health diagnosis of pregnant and fetus are good enough to make the flight. In case Health diagnosis of pregnant and fetus are not good enough to take the flight, are required to complete medical clearance (as Passengers required for medical clearance before departure)

c. Pregnant women over 32 weeks: We refuse carriage.

d. Pregnant with twin or more children; or being pregnant by artificial insemination; or fetal evolution is abnormal: are required to complete medical clearance (as Passengers required for medical clearance before departure)

6. Passengers required for medical clearance before departure:
a. Passengers required for medical clearance before departure is a passenger who has at least one of the criteria below: 
- Passengers who are unable to care for themselves during the flight due to mental problems
- The injured passengers, illness or health condition can cause seriously impact to the other passengers on the flight.
- Pregnant passengers, include: Pregnant with twin or more children; or being pregnant by artificial insemination; or fetal evolution is abnormal.
- Infants with unusual health status or prematurely born children
- Passengers who might have their medical condition aggravated during the flight: lung diseases, ear or nose diseases, newly broken bone, newly surgery, newly being pregnant by artificial insemination, serious allergy, etc.
- Passengers with contagious disease: chicken pox, pulmonary tuberculosis, measles, parotitis, etc

b. Conditions of acceptance: 
- Conditions of accompanied passengers:
Being able to move and care for himself during the flight, accept carriage without accompanied passengers
Being unable to move and care for himself/herself during the flight: accept carriage when travel with accompanied passengers, who is from 18 years of age or older, healthy enough to assist passengers; each accompanied passenger is accepted to travel with only 01 passenger required for medical clearance before departure.
- Condition of health examination: passengers are required to complete health certificate with condition following:
• Health certificate from medical centers following:
 In Vietnam: General and specialized hospitals at central, provincial, city, district or equivalents; private and international hospitals; international general clinic.
 In other countries: Medical central with legal status licensed by authorized authority to operate in local countries.
• Health certificate according to our form Health certificate
• The date of diagnosis must not be more than 7 days from the date of travel
• Refusing carriage:
 Prognosis will get worse for the anticipated trip and/or 
 Passengers’ medical might offensive to other passengers.
• Pregnant women are required to sign the waiver of responsibility form.

7. Infants; Children; unaccompanied minors; young passengers traveling alone:
a. Infants (INF): 
- Infants are passengers who aged under 02 years on the date of departure.
- Conditions of acceptance:
• Infants with usual health status. In case of Infants with unusual health status or prematurely born children are require for medical clearance (as Passengers required for medical clearance before departure)
• We refuse carriage INF under 14.
• INF are required traveling with accompanies, who is from 18 years of age or older, is not passenger requiring special assistance as WCH; BLND; DEAF; Passengers required for medical clearance before departure.
• Each adult traveling with 01 INF and INF sists on an adult’s lap.
• The maximum number of INF on each flight depend on individual aircraft.

b. Children (CHD):
- Children are passengers who aged from 02 years to under 12 years on the date of departure.
- Conditions of acceptance: 
• CHD are required traveling with accompanies, who is from 18 years of age or older, is not passenger requiring special.
• An adult travel with maximum: 1 INF and 1 CHD under 6 years old; or 02 CHD under 6 years old; CHD from 6 or older: no limitation.

c. Unaccompanied minors (UM):
- Unaccompanied minors, who aged from 02 years to under 12 years on the date of departure, traveling alone.
- We do not provide UM service.

d. Young passengers traveling alone (YPTA):
- YPTA are passengers, who aged from 12 years to under 14 years on the date of departure, traveling alone.
- Conditions of acceptance:
• Accept carriage YPTA only on domestic flights.
• Requests must be made at least 24 hours before departure time via VietJet Ticketing offices and Call center.
• YPTA are accepted carriage provide Parents/ Guardian complete the Registration for young passenger travel alone form and sign the waiver of responsibility form.
• YPTA are required to have someone to take/ pick up at departure and arrival terminal

8. Baby bassinet on board service; Stretcher service; Oxygen service: We do not provide these services.

9. Elderly passengers:
- Elderly passengers who are 60 years old or older.
- In case of elderly passengers require special assistance, apply correspondence conditions of acceptance.

Contributed – to – Revolution passengers, disabled passengers, elderly passengers, pregnant women and passengers travel with infant are served with priority at Vietjet ticketing offices, airport and onboard.
