1. I am pregnant, am I allowed to fly?
Pregnant passengers need to notify us of their pregnancy upon purchase of their ticket and also at our check-in counters. Transportation for pregnant passengers depends on following criteria:
a. A passenger who is pregnant up to 27 weeks needs to sign a liability waiver at the time of check-in.
b. A passenger who is pregnant between 28-32 weeks:
    i. Needs verification from a doctor clearly stating the length of the pregnancy and the condition of the passenger for flight. This document should be issued within 30 days of the scheduled flight; and
    ii. Needs to sign the liability waiver at the time of check-in.
c. A passenger who is pregnant more than 32 weeks is not permitted to fly with us.

2. How old must my child be to be allowed to travel?
14 days old.

3. What if the child does not have a birth certificate?
If the birth certificate is not yet issued a hospital certificate is also allowed.

4. What should I do if I require a wheelchair?
Please contact our call center on 19001886.

5. What are the regulations for children traveling alone?
Children under 12 are not allowed to travel without being accompanied by an adult aged18 or older.
Children from 12-16 are allowed to travel with written permission from their parents.
Children from 16-18 are accepted for traveling without any guarantee document.

6. What are the regulations for infants?
Infants from 14 days old are allowed to travel by plane.
The infant must sit on the lap of parent/guardian.

7. How many wheelchairs are provided by VietJetAir?
For safety reasons, VietjetAir only carry maximum of 5 disabled passengers who request ramp and forklift services (when a passenger cannot mount the aircraft stairs) per flight.
A passenger who requires special assistance or an ill passenger, including those who need medical assistance on board, needs to inform us at least 48 hours before the flight to pre-arrange special support equipment. Failure to notify us may lead to no device being available at the airport. In such a case, the passenger will be denied transportation. 

8. Can one passenger reserve two seats?
Yes, you can book and pay for two tickets on the aircraft. The name on the second ticket will be marked ‘EXST’ to identify the extra seat.

9. What are the regulations for passengers with hearing or visual?
a. A passenger with serious visual impairment is considered to be blind and the following applies.
     - Not more than 5 blind passengers on each flight.
     - The passenger can travel with children aged 6 and over.
     - The passenger is not allowed to travel alone with infants.
    - The passenger will be placed in a seat that is clearly visible to the flight attendants.
     - If possible, the passenger will be seated near the emergency exit.
b. A passenger with a serious hearing impairment is considered deaf and the following applies.
   - Only accepted for travel if accompanied. The accompanying person is responsible for guiding the passenger during the flight and in case of emergency. We only accept maximum of 5 passengers with serious hearing impairment with an accompanying person.
    - The passenger will be placed in a seat that is clearly visible to the flight attendants.
     - If possible, the passenger will be seated near the emergency exit.

10. Is an adult allowed to accompany 2 infants under two years of age?
Yes, as long as one of the babies is older than 6 months old.  A ticket is required for this baby.

11. Can Vietjet Air transport a passenger on a stretcher?
We have no such service available.

12. Can I book online for an infant less than 2 years of age?
Yes, as long as the baby is accompanied by the parents or a guardian aged over 18.

Children:

Passengers from 2 to under 12 years old (as of the date of departure) is called the child, the child seat must be purchased separately and adult fares. A (01) adults are taking the same (01) children.

When filling in at the airport, children need a birth certificate or passport (for international travel). VIETJET may refuse transportation to the lack of documentation on the case.

Infant:

Passengers under 2 years old (as of the date of departure) is called a baby, your baby will not have to buy a ticket and sit in an adult's lap. A (01) adults are taking the same (01) baby.

When filling in at the airport, babies need to have a birth certificate or passport (for international travel). VIETJET may refuse transportation to the lack of documentation on the case.

All children must be accompanied by father / mother or guardian aged 15 and up
