THE GRAND OPENING OF VIETJET CARGO
On 15th November 2014, in Intercontinental Asiana hotel, Vietjet has officially launched an affiliate company, Vietjet Cargo, paving the way for the dynamic new-age carrier to transport freight and commodities globally as part of the airline’s business development plan. In the ceremony, Vietjet was honored to welcome Mr Vo Huy Cuong, Deputy General Director of Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, Mr Nguyen Van Thang, Deputy Director of Southern Airports Authority, Mr Patrick Pelletier – Sales Director of Airbus Group, Mr Zainal Abidin, Managing Director of Leisure Cargo (Germany), Vietjet’s Board of Management and leaders of partners, airlines, national and international forwarders and agents. VIETJET TO OPEN THE FIRST FLIGHT FROM HA NOI TO SIEM REAP
On 3 November, 2014, Vietjet open its first flight from Ha Noi to Siem Reap, connecting Ha Noi capital (Vietnam) and Siem Reap (Kingdom of Cambodia). Offering flexible and friendly service & low cost policy, Vietjet operates the inaugural flight between Hanoi and Siem Reap in order to meet the needs of tourism, trading exchange for both and further strengthen the cooperation of the two countries as well.
With Vietjet, Vietnam is closer than ever
On 5 November, 2014, Vietnam’s fastest growing airline, Vietjet officially announced the opening of a new international route connecting Taipei (Taiwan) and Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam). This new route will commence operations on 12 December, 2014.
