Following the successful cooperation with Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association (HTA) to offer discounts to Ho Chi Minh City-based tour agencies and holidaymakers, VietJetAir today continues to make the same deal with Vietnam Tourism Association (VISTA). Accordingly, leading travel agencies and holidaymakers in northern Vietnam will be able to enjoy discounts of up to 49 per cent on VietJetAir flights over the next six months.

This domestic travel stimulus initiative will introduce exclusive low-cost holiday packages to help lure travellers to the country’s most celebrated destinations from 15 July to 31 December, 2012.

Mr Vu The Binh, chairperson of VISTA and Mr Nguyen Duc Tam, Deputy general director of VietJetAir at the signing ceremony

As a key partner in the deal, VietJetAir will provide low-cost tickets with favourable and flexible terms and conditions to participating travel agencies. The travel agencies themselves will also try to offer competitively priced and highly quality tours to help tourists further explore Vietnam’s leading holiday destinations.

For the Ho Chi Minh City – Hanoi route, which enjoys the highest demand in the country, VietJetAir will offer even lower fares than normal for travel agencies while increasing flight frequency to meet surging demand during summer and year-end holidays.

Nguyen Duc Tam, Deputy general director of VietJetAir, said: “We are pleased to initiate the the very first travel stimulus program with VISTA in the north today. Thanks to our expanding nationwide flight network with new aircrafts, professional and friendly flight attendants, comfortable leather-covered seats and flexible airfares, we have been invited to play the key role in this inspiring program. We believe that now even more travellers will experience the most enjoyable and memorable trips with VietJet Air.

“Furthermore, together with some of the country’s leading travel agencies, we are working on building new travel products and diversifying tours for each season in all destinations to make sure that our customers are exclusively cared for,” added Tam. The travel stimulus program – initiate by HTA – lasts until the end of the year and aims to boost demand for domestic travel in Vietnam. VISTA and HTA have also been cooperating with localities to help slash service prices for travel agencies.
